Canadian cannabis producer cleared to export medical CBD product into Brazil
Cannabis companies can look forward to expanding their market of high quality products outside borders

Brazil Health Authority (ANVISA) released an approval for Heritage’s formulated CBD product to be imported by Brazil after meeting regulatory requirements.

The company is also awaiting final approval from ANVISA on two additional CBD products.

Heritage Cannabis Holding Corp operates two licensed manufacturing facilities in Canada with capacity that outstrips domestic demand currently. The company already has an extensive portfolio of high-quality cannabis products under leading brand names.

Back in 2021, Health Canada gave Heritage the first ever license to export its cannabis products under a testing program with ANVISA.

With Brazil’s large population, the industry has a very healthy market outlook. Early entry into this market gives Heritage a competitive advantage as it establishes brand recognition before other manufacturers.

Reaching underserved customers is part of Heritage’s growth strategy. Stepping up and going beyond borders is a key strategic step for cannabis companies who wish to outpace competitors.
